In addition to these terms and Conditions you have statutory rights under: The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Zafra Medical Ltd strictly observes and adheres to these rights.

Appointments and Cancellations

1.1 All health care practitioners are registered, highly trained and approved in the treatment protocols delivered. Before any treatment is carried out a medical consultation will be carried out in which details of the procedure will be explained, as well as the risks and allow any questions about the procedure. There is no treatment on the day of first consultation following GMC guidelines for cosmetic procedures. 1.2 Free consultations are available, these are granted to new patients for the initial first consultation of 30 minutes. 1.3 Our policy of free consultation is ONLY for the first appointment. We allow up to three changes free of charge for the first appointment (rescheduling/cancellations) when we are notified up to 48 hours previous to the confirmed appointment. 1.4 If there is any change to the confirmed appointment (rescheduling/cancellation) in less than 48 hours to the appointment any request of further appointments will be charged at normal rate £79 for up to 30 minutes. Payment must be done previous to the new appointment and is only for the consultation, and will not be included in any treatment or session. 1.5 Non-attendance to any appointment or Cancellation in less than 48 hours prior to the appointment will result in forfeit of the consultation/session/treatment booked and the cost of this is Non-refundable. Non-Attendance Fee of £79 will have to be paid before further appointments are granted. 1.6 Any attendance past 15 minutes of the appointment time will be considered a non-attendance to that appointment and will result in forfeit of the consultation/session/treatment booked and the cost of this is Non-refundable. 1.7 Do not reschedule TREATMENT appointments scheduled by our practitioners if your treatment has been considered to take longer than 30 minutes. Please email: info@zaframedical.co.uk before to confirm the change is possible as we have already allocated time for your treatment on that day and must ensure any change is compatible with other appointments.  1.8 Any further appointments when you have reached the cancellation/rescheduling limit will be charged previous to the appointment day at normal rate £79 for up to 30 minutes for consultation only and is not included in any treatment. To request an appointment please email: info@zaframedical.co.uk so we can process the payment for a new appointment. 1.9 If you are unable to get to a confirmed appointment, please contact: info@zaframedical.co.uk or call 07572904810 / 0330504810 immediately please leave a message so we can arrange the booking. 2.0 On the day of your visit please arrive 15 minutes early so that the required paperwork can be completed and any of your questions are addressed fully. If you do arrive late this could result in reduced treatment or consultation time or forfeiting the appointment completely. Zafra Medical Ltd will do their best to make sure that your appointment runs on time. If for some reason we have to cancel or change your appointment time, we will contact you in advance to offer a new time to suit you.
2.1 You are always advised to follow pre treatment procedures, please do your utmost to follow this as failure to do so could impact the efficacy and results of your treatment.
2.2 Please do not bring children under the age of 16 to the Clinic without additional adult supervision. Zafra Medical Ltd is unable to provide childcare services. 2.3 Strict COVID-19 rules must be followed when attending our facilities from June 2020, these are emailed on every appointment.

Treatments

2.1 Cosmetic services and treatments carried out at Zafra Medical Ltd are all part of a package of care to maintain, protect and restore health of the individual; these are all carried out by a qualified healthcare professional (doctor or nurse).
2.2 Cosmeceuticals and skin care products are not sold, as they are part of the aftercare package of all the services provided at Zafra Medical ltd.
2.3 Treatments are charged to your card in accordance to the detailed price. Payment is taken when treatment suitability after medical consultation is established and the day of treatment is set.
2.5 Treatment plans are only refundable for medical reasons or if you fail to keep up your payment plan. Treatment plans not carried out in full are refunded on the basis of individual treatments not carried out charged at normal price minus the price paid for the full treatment plan.
2.6 If you pay for a treatment but fail to complete Zafra Medical Ltd will only charge you for the consultation you have had and the balance will be refunded back to the card used at the time of purchase.

Treatment Suitability

3.1 Whilst you can book and pay for your consultation on this site, the final decision as to whether you are suitable for any treatment rests with the Doctor or Nurse delivering the treatment or procedure.
3.2 If it is deemed that the treatment is not suitable for any reason whatsoever, you will be refunded in full without question and the reasons for not proceeding will be fully explained to you.

Credit Card Details, Deposits and Payments

4.1 Payment is taken for your consultation when you checkout on this site. The price is for the consultation only and do not include any treatment, if you do not receive any treatment and request it you will be refunded in full without question.
4.2 Your Card statement will show that Zafra Medical Ltd / Jorge Cruz Zafra took payment for your consultation and you will receive an email confirmation showing all of our details in full once you have checked out and payment is taken.
4.3 Pre-Payments can only be taken for medical consultations and do not include in whole or part of medical procedures or prescriptions.
4.3 Zafra Medical Ltd does not keep your card details on file and the checkout process is fully compliant and safe.

The Zafra Medical Gift Certificate/Voucher

5.1 The Zafra Medical Gift Certificate/Voucher can only bought and are only produced by Zafra Medical Ltd and is not an incentive to have any medical treatment carried at Zafra Medical Ltd. The redemption of the Zafra Medical GIFT VOUCHER can only be done after a consultation has been carried out by a Zafra Medical practitioner. 5.2 The Zafra Medical Gift Certificate/Voucher is valid for a period of 12 months from the date issued. If it is not used for a period of 12 consecutive months it will automatically expire at the end of that period and the balance will be forfeited. 5.3 The Zafra Medical Gift Certificate/Voucher cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash or vouchers, it is non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be used in conjunction with any other type of discount. 5.4 If an intended redemption of the Zafra Medical Gift Certificate/Voucher is for a higher amount than the face value stated, the difference can be made up with a card payment. If it is less, then change can not be given. 5.5 Each Zafra Medical Gift Certificate/Voucher will be subject to verification at time of presentation and each individual practitioner reserves the right not to accept vouchers that have or appear to have been forged, damaged, defaced or otherwise tampered with. 5.6 Zafra Medical reserves the right to refuse to accept the Zafra Medical Gift Certificate/Voucher in payment or part payment of any item where it reasonably suspects that the card or any amount on it may have been stolen, tampered with, duplicated or obtained in another illegal way. 5.7 Zafra Medical reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions and / or discontinue the voucher at anytime. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Guarantee

This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.
6.1 You can request any number of reviews within 14 days from the date your treatment has been carried out. Refund requests made within this 14-day period will be processed within 2 working days to offer a review day for face to face consultation with the practitioner that carried out the treatment.
6.2 All Zafra Medical treatments are backed by clinical results guarantee and whilst results always vary from person to person, Zafra Medical Ltd guarantees an outcome as described on the consultation day and consent signed, results vary in degrees relative to the client’s baseline condition. Outcomes and expectations will be discussed and agreed at the initial consultation.

This guarantee is only effective under the following conditions

7.1 You agree to before and after photographs being taken. We do this because the nature of improvement is gentle over time, improving each time skin progresses through each individual’s biological cell cycle. Sometimes patients don’t see the obvious results and a comparison photo is the only way to compare the results. It is also proof that you had the treatment/s. Insurance companies request that all healthcare practitioners have such photographic evidence. Your images will only be used for internal purposes and will never be shared with anyone else without your express consent in writing.
7.2 You complete the initial consultation and attend review consultation at the day and time scheduled.
7.3 If you feel that the treatment has not worked for you, you agree that any dispute over results will be judged by a suitably qualified Nurse or Doctor from a different aesthetic practitioner that offers the same treatment in the same conditions to the one you had using the before and after photographs.

Cancellations and Refunds

If you wish to cancel an appointment or cancel a treatment that has not been carried out we aim to make this simple for you and we provide the following options.
• Simply email info@zaframedical.co.uk and we will respond within 1 working day.
• By writing to Zafra Medical. Litfield Place 1. Clifton Down. Bristol BS8 3LS
• By telephone to 03330504810 and advise that you wish to cancel.
In all circumstances you will be refunded to the card used at the time of purchase or nominated bank account within 2-3 working days of receipt of your request.
If you have bought a course of treatments (treatment plan), the treatments not carried will be cancelled and balance will be refunded. The refund does not include any discount and treatments carried out will be deducted at normal rate from the total paid in the treatment plan paid.

Liability

8.1 Zafra Medical Ltd will not be liable in contract, tort or otherwise for any economic loss (including, without limitation, loss of profit), or for any other special, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of, or in connection with its provision of any goods and/or services to the client/patient or subcontractor.
8.2 It is your responsibility to ensure that you provide the Technician, Doctor or Nurse at the Zafra Medical Ltd with comprehensive true medical details prior to each treatment.
8.3 You agree that you will not hold Zafra Medical Ltd liable for any adverse effects, injury or damage that occurs as a result of your failure to disclose such details.
8.4 You agree to comply with all instructions and/or recommendations given to you on behalf of Zafra Medical Ltd by the Technician, Doctor or Nurse regarding the care of a treated area. Nothing in these terms of business shall exclude or limit Zafra Medical Ltd of liability for death or any personal injury resulting from the Doctor, Nurse or Technician’s negligence.
8.5 Zafra Medical Ltd has full liability insurance to cover such eventualities and you agree that any action will be exclusively taken against the Zafra Medical Ltd and not its subsidiaries, partners, suppliers and employees.

Your Right to Complain

9.1 Zafra Medical Ltd undergoes a rigorous accreditation process to ensure compliance, safety and quality. If you have any reason to complain about any procedure, please address this in writing to Zafra Medical. Litfield Place 1. Clifton Down. Bristol BS8 3LS or by completing the online complaint form.
9.2 We will respond to your complaint or query within 2-3 working days. We aim to satisfactorily resolve your complaint or issue within 14 working days. If we do not respond and resolve your complaint to your satisfaction you can make a further complaint to Citizens Advice here https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/consumer/
